Fanning is passionate about bringing health care to the communities that need it most. “Lack of access should not be why someone’s sick.” Fanning works in rural Eastern Washington, providing primary care for the migrant worker community. She applied to 12 PA programs around the country but chose OHSU because “They put their students first, and they take health equity and access very seriously.”

U.S. News & World Report ranks OHSU’s physician assistant program 5th in the nation. Second year students start clinical rotations in communities throughout the Northwest, gaining experience in diverse health care settings.
